Goldenly Delicious!

About 4 years ago, we realized my youngest daughter (6 years old then) was gluten intolerant. Whenever she did eat gluten, her body would respond with pain all over. Inflammation was just intolerable. Rather than loading her up with Tylenol or Ibuprofen, I looked for alternate ways to “calm the storm”. My research lead me to turmeric which is one of the most potent anti-inflammatories in nature, which is why, if you’re struggling with any inflammatory disorder, golden milk is a beverage worth trying. Turmeric alone is known to

It was quite easy to make and it tasted surprisingly good! My sweet little girl called it “HER chocolate milk”.  Not only did it help tremendously with inflammation and pain, but it also helped to calm my thoughts at night help me get a good night sleep. When its made with almond milk coupled with coconut oil and honey, it is a creamy and delicious treat that is also medicine.
To get started, you make a simple paste:

  • 1/4 c of Organic Ground Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
  • 1/2 c Filtered Water

Mix together until it creates a paste. Store it in a sealed glass container in the fridge.  It will thicken more after being chilled.
To make a delicious cup of golden milk, combine:

  •  add 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of the turmeric paste (depending on taste)
  • 1 cup of Coconut or Almond Milk
  • 1 tbsp Coconut oil

Heat it in a pan until it’s the temperature of a cup of chocolate milk. Then sweeten to taste with local honey.
Here's a quick video showing you step by step how I make it.
